Claudia Montanari - Engineer
Studied Building Engineering/Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. During her academic period she attended an internship at “Atsushi Kitagawara Architects” office in Tokyo where she focused on the study of wooden architecture and on traditional Japanese carpentry and culture. Back in Italy she attended an internship with the company ‘Rubner Haus S.P.A.’ where she studied in depth the topics relating to thermal bridges and interstitial condensation in buildings. She graduated in 2013 with a thesis on high energy performance units where the Japanese wooden construction system is combined with top notch thermal building methods derived from western technological innovations. She is currently partner of a Real Estate Appraisal office in the Milan area and continues her interest in building engineering design and sustainable construction.
